Redbet Casino Review

RedBet was first founded in 2002, but it only opened its virtual doors in 2004. Ever since the casino and bookmaker has worked on its excellent reputation and has now become a favourite among punters and casino players.

Owned and operated by Evoke Gaming Ltd., the casino is at home in Malta, where it also receives one of its licenses from. We say one, because RedBet is among those casinos with multiple licenses, which makes it one of the safest and best regulated casinos and bookmakers around. That alone is impressive, but it doesn’t stop there.

RedBet has established itself as a one-stop-shop for sports- and live-betting, casino games including a live casino and poker as well. A now thoroughly modern casino, they have reinvented themselves over the years and also offer and excellent mobile platform these days, proving that they’re going with the times and don’t lag behind.

Players considering signing up here can look forward to a generous bonus of up to €/£1,000, which comes with reasonably wagering requirements as well. If you need a few reasons as to why you should join RedBet, read on:

A Redbet welcome bonus in three parts

RedBet’s welcome offer comes in three parts, which means you get match bonuses and free spins for the first three deposits you make here. That sort of offer is always attractive and RedBet wants to make sure you like it as well.

  • First deposit: 100% and up to €/£100 extra plus 100 free spins on Warlords – use code WELCOME
  • Second deposit: 50% and up to €/£400 extra plus 100 free spins on Starburst – use code WELCOME2
  • Third deposit: 25% and up to €/£500 extra plus 50 free spins on Gonzo’s Quest – use code WELCOME3

In order to receive the bonuses you will need to deposit at least €/£20 and you have to use the correct code as well. Once you have received your free spins, you’ll need to use them within 7 days.

Bonus money and free spin winnings will need to be wagered 35 times before a withdrawal is possible. You’ll get 30 days to complete those requirements. As usual your real funds are used before your bonus funds. Whilst RedBet keeps the terms and conditions for the bonus straight forward, you’ll essentially have to stick to slots and other games to complete the wagering requirements. Poker games and table games as well as slots with high RTPs are excluded here. Do make sure to acquaint yourself with the list of excluded games over at RedBet.

Overall the bonus is pretty generous and the bonus conditions are within the limits of what is normal in the industry.

Well over 500 games from multiple providers

The game selection at RedBet has vastly improved in recent years. This is a one-stop-shop, but often we find that sportsbook operators tend to neglect their casino and live casino in favour of their sportsbook. This is certainly not the case with RedBet, where you’ll find both to be quite excellent.

RedBet has an impressive portfolio of games and software providers and nowadays offers slots from NetEnt, Play’n GO, ELK Studios, Quickspin, Microgaming, Thunderkick, NextGen Gaming and others. Thus you’ll find titles such as Taco Brothers, Bloopers, Avalon, Turning Totems, Great White Elk, 7 Sins or Warlords: Crystals of Power at RedBet.

You have a comprehensive filter in the games section that allows you to sort games according to provider, volatility, paylines and functions. That’s pretty neat and not something we’ve seen often.

In the table games section you’ll find Roulette versions, Blackjack and Baccarat games, Red Dog, Pontoon, Hi Lo and Punto Banco. There are, however, no Casino Poker games here. Those get their own section, which also includes Video Poker.

Overall the selection of games is really good at RedBet and if you come here for nothing but casino games, you’ll be quite happy here.

Live Casino

Like we already mentioned, the live casino is excellent at RedBet. The more than 55 tables are provided by Evolution Gaming and NetEnt. That means you get some of the best live games in the industry as both providers are at the top of the game.

In the live casino you’ll find plenty of version of Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat as well as Casino Poker. The emphasis is most certainly on Roulette and Blackjack and you have a huge choice of tables, dealers and limits, which are all given below the game logos, meaning you can select your preferences before actually sitting down.

Limits here should appear to just about anyone, whether you’re new to live games or whether you’re an experienced high roller. We’re really quite impressed with what’s on offer here.

Jackpots

The jackpot section of RedBet may just be one of its few weaknesses. That’s mainly due to the fact that there are currently only 20 progressive jackpot games. Whilst that is more than we’ve seen elsewhere, we’ve also seen a lot more at other casinos. Still, we’re not going to make a big deal of it, because the most important jackpots can certainly be found here. Among the life-changing ones are:

  • Mega Moolah and Mega Moolah Isis
  • Mega Fortune
  • Arabian Nights
  • King Cashalot
  • Major Millions
  • Hall of Gods

Among the smaller jackpots you’ll find Super Lucky Frog, Bell of Fortune, Divine Fortune, Jackpot Jester 50k or Cosmic Fortune. There are also three Caribbean Stud Poker jackpots. So, whilst it’s not a big selection, it is of very high quality, which is what matters the most.

Sports- and live-betting on par with the great ones

RedBet’s sportsbook is quite attractive. It looks modern, nicely organised and clean. Often sportsbooks will offer a huge amount of information and numbers and if you’ve never used one of them, you may feel a little disoriented or overwhelmed. RedBet appears to be aware of this problem and aims for a clean approach.

They don’t offer quite as many selections as other bookmakers, but you’ll find the most important sports, events and markets here as well. Of course, there’s a live betting section as well, where all current and upcoming games and events are listed. There does not appear to be a live streaming option, which would be an advantage, but is hardly a must.

RedBet has earned a good reputation as a bookmaker as well and if you’re looking for a one-stop-shop, you’ll find this one quite satisfactory.

Support

You may have heard of RedBet’s customer service. It has an excellent reputation for fast response times, friendliness, competence and the availability in multiple languages. You can reach the team via email, live chat or phone and they’re open every day between 9 am and 1am. Whilst those times are somewhat limited, they do cover the most important time of day and play.

Additionally there’s a comprehensive and easy to navigate FAQ section that will answer quite a few questions already. Only specific problems will lead you to the customer service team. And you’ll find that they are not only willing but able to help.

All the necessary payment options are available

How to deposit and withdraw is listed in the terms and conditions over at RedBet. That’s slightly unusual, because often you’ll find that information somewhere in the FAQ or in a separate section, but here it’s covered as part of the T’s & C’s. It is, however, not as important where the information is listed, but that it is covered at all.

For deposits you’ll find Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, Skrill, paysafecard and bank transfers available. MasterCard and paysafecard aside, those same methods are also available for withdrawals.

Granted, that’s not a huge number of payment options, but they happen to be the most common and popular ones. Most other payment methods tend to be specific to certain markets and the only big one missing here would be PayPal.

No fees are charged by RedBet, no matter which deposit or withdrawal method you choose, which is nice. However, a conversion fee might be applicable, in case you choose a different currency for whatever reason.

The good news is that there does not appear to be any limit on withdrawals. None are mentioned in the terms and conditions anyway, which is where you usually find that information. If in doubt, ask customer service, of course.

License

Safety and security are not an issue at RedBet. There’s also no likelihood of fraud with this particular casino. It’s simply too well regulated. Not only does RedBet hold licenses from Malta and Gibraltar, but the casino and bookmaker also have a UKGC license and one from Alderney. There are not many casinos out there that can claim to hold this many licenses.

Additionally the SSL certificate ensures that all transactions and personal data is encrypted. RedBet provides further information under a separate link.

The casino also showcases a RNG certificate, meaning the random number generators have been tested independently and are functioning as they should. Even the card shuffling has been reviewed by independent auditors (in this case by eCOGRA). You could hardly ask for more.

Attractive, modern and no fuss design

Hit up RedBet’s homepage and you’ll know that sports is at the centre of the business. Slow-motion clips are played on the frontpage that show various sports or players, but wheels are spun and cards are shuffled in between as well. It looks a bit like an elegant casino ad.

From here you navigate to the different sections. We already mentioned the attractive sportsbook, which is nicely and intuitively organised. The same is true for the casino and live casino sections. You won’t see much of the Poker section unless you have an account.

Still the casino is not just black and red, for the most part the background is actually kept white, which means all other colours pop nicely.
The navigation is well done and you’ll find everything only a click away. RedBet doesn’t make any fuss when it comes to the design and there’s nothing not to like here.

A great mobile offering

The design and navigations translates nicely to the mobile platform of the casino. Here, too, you’ll find all sections, including Poker, which you can play in your mobile browser. The mobile site has been very well executed and offers full functionality.

Not all games are available for play here, but you can still find a large enough selection not to worry about those few missing. Plus, you get to place all your sportsbets here as well. What more could you ask for?

Only occasional offers and no loyalty program

Whilst RedBet has a separate section for offers, you’ll only find the welcome bonus here most of the time. We do know that RedBet does have promotions on occasionally, but that does not seem to be their strong suit. Indeed, it’s the only section we find flawed in an otherwise fantastic casino and sportsbook.

There also does not appear to be a loyalty and VIP program available. At least, we could find no information on either. Again, this is not necessarily a must for a casino, but it is often a nice incentive to keep coming back, especially loyalty programs that offer rewards to all players.

Perhaps more specials are available in the member sections, but it doesn’t help to make up your mind about joining a casino, when you can find this information without signing up.

Conclusion: A great casino and bookmaker that could use more promotions

RedBet certainly deserves its good reputation. We have no doubt about it. This is one of the best regulated casinos in the industry. They place equal emphasis on sports, casino and poker and no matter where you preference is or whether you dabble in all three, you’ll find your needs met at RedBet.

One of the only letdowns here are the lack of promotions or offers. Sure, a good casino is reward in itself and perhaps RedBet has a policy of not overly spoiling their players, even though they have fantastic customer service and great products. But enjoying extra free spins, reload bonuses or network promotions is certainly nice. Players may be disappointed in that regard, but if you’re among those, who’re not after special offers, you’ll find RedBet to be an excellent one-stop-shop and we can only recommend you take up the generous welcome offer and get playing here.
