Cadoola Casino Review

Cadoola casino is another online casino owned and operated by Araxio Development N.V., which is a part of the Tranello Group. Cadoola, just like its sister casinos, has opened up in 2017, that makes it another very young online casino.

Naturally, the casino is licensed in Curacao as well. That’s not ideal and a European license would most certainly be a huge advantage, especially when it comes to player protection. But we have also seen that the casino engages with unhappy players, trying to solve any complaints that may crop up.

Cadoola is a colourful and fun casino that works with many excellent game developers, which means they host tons of fantastic casinos games, in particular slots. But a live casino is also available and players get to enjoy regular tournaments and promotions, which cannot be said of all new and emerging casinos.

When players sign up at Cadoola, they can grab a 100% welcome bonus and can get up to €500 as well as 200 free spins.

A few things that jumped out at us when we first checked the casino, are the following:

  • Great selection of games
  • Only the best providers
  • Generous welcome bonus
  • Free spins available
  • Colourful and brilliant graphics
  • Live casino and mobile casino

Loads of extra spins with the welcome offer

Right now, new players at Cadoola can grab a 100% match bonus and up to €500 in bonus cash. You’ll need to deposit at least €20 to claim the bonus. On top of that, players will receive 200 free spisn as part of the welcome bonus. Those will be handed out in increments of 20 spins over 10 days, though the first 20 spins are available immediately after the first deposit was made successfully.

It is necessary for players to contact customer service via live chat or email if they wish to claim the bonus as it is not added automatically. That’s good or bad, depending on your preferences. Some players prefer to opt-out of a welcome bonus, because you don’t have to worry about meeting the wagering requirements.

Similar to the terms and conditions over at Boaboa casino, the wagering requirements for any deposit bonus are 30x the bonus and the deposit at Cadoola as well. Your winnings are cancelled and the bonus as well, should you attempt to make a withdrawal before the wagering requirements are met. So be careful here.

Additionally, only slots and ‘other games’ count towards completing the playthrough requirements. So, roulette, baccarat, blackjack, casino poker or video poker don’t contribute at all, neither do live games.

Many slots only contribute 20% to wagering and some nothing at all. Not all those games are necessarily high RTP slots and we’re not entirely sure what the reason behind excluding Book of Dead for instance is. A full list of affected slots is available at Cadoola directly.

Wagering requirements will have to be met within 10 days, so you better be sure that you’re up for the challenge.

A great game library

Just like its sister casinos, Cadoola has a great library of games available. They’re working with the exact same game developers, so you basically get the exact same portfolio here. As such you can expect to find games from NetEnt, Microgaming, Yggdrasil Gaming, ELK Studios, Pragmatic Play, Quickspin, Play’n GO, NYZ Interactive, Endorphina, Pariplay, Ezugi, Amatic, GameArt, Betsoft, Thunderkick, Push Gaming, Amaya, iSoftBet, RedRake, Ainsworth, Habanero and Rival as well as a handful others.

Accordingly, you get some of the best and newest slots around: Pirate’s Charm, Flying Dutchman, Tiki Tumble, Kaiju, Asgardian Stones, Hugo Goal, Temple of Tut, Planet Fortune, Muertitos, Fairy Gate, Twin Spin Deluxe and many others.

The huge selection of developers and slots guarantees hours of entertainment at Cadoola casino. But other games are available as well. Roulette, Blackjack and Baccarat are among them with Roulette and Blackjack getting their own section, as well as Poker and Video Poker, which can also be sorted individually. There are over 50 video poker games available, which is something we very rarely see.

Keno and Bingo as well as a few scratch cards are also available here.

Live Casino

The live casino gets its own section, but you can also filter according to live games, whichever you prefer. The majority of tables is supplied by Evolution Gaming, the leading live casino supplier in the industry.

Here, too, you will be able to find the Ezugi Live Casino, though you can only check out what’s behind that once you’ve got a registered account. We do recommend that you actually have a look, because Ezugi is something you don’t often get to experience.

Among the live tables, you’ll be able to play Roulette, Baccarat and Blackjack as well a good number of Casino Poker games as well as Dream Catcher.

In a still very young online casino, this offer is quite sufficient.

Jackpots

Unsurprisingly, the number of available progressive jackpots at Cadoola is very small indeed. As is often the case with Curacao licensed casinos, the major jackpots from NetEnt and Microgaming are not there. In fact, none of their jackpots are available here. That’s most unusual.

And it’s not possible to filter for jackpot games. You have to go searching for them and the best way to do that is according to game developer. That way you’ll come across the Betsoft jackpots, chief among them The Glam Life and The Mega Glam Life.

Yggdrasil Gaming’s jackpots Ozwin’s Jackpots and Holmes and the Stolen Stones are also available. But for life-changing jackpots you’ll have to look elsewhere. Whilst the Betsoft jackpots can grow handsomely, they’re also not known for paying out frequently.

Support

In the small FAQ section you’ll learn how to contact the customer service team. Whilst they are available 24/7 not all support is provided around the clock. Live chat is available all the time, but if you want to make a call, you can only reach the team between 10:00 and 20:00 GMT+3. Additionally, financial transactions are only processed between 9am and 6pm GMT+3 and not on weekends.

The FAQ section itself is rather small, but at least it is there. A few questions are answered here, but the answers could also be a little more helpful. Reading the terms and conditions is very important, because you can find additional information here.

Payments

This is somewhat of a lack in transparency. There’s once again no separate section for payments, which means you have almost no advance information on fees, transaction times, limits and even all available payment options, for deposits and withdrawals.

The icons for the different payment services on the homepage, tell us at least that Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, paysafecard, Bank Transfer, Multibanco, Boleto, zimpler and other options are available for deposits, though we can expect that not all of them are also available for withdrawals.

In the terms and conditions, we can find the information that the casino doesn’t charge extra for deposits or withdrawals. But lots of other information remains missing. You either have to contact customer service, or simply make an account and check the cashier.

Additionally, there’s a clause that requires you to wager your deposit 3x before you can request a withdrawal, otherwise a commission of 10% may be held back by the casino.

Finally, depending on your VIP status, the withdrawal limits are between €10,000 per month and €50,000 per month.

License

As expected, Cadoola also only serves up a license from Curacao. That doesn’t so much reflect on the quality of the casino, but someone on the effort the operator is willing to make in insure player protection.

Curacao, whilst a long-established gambling jurisdiction, is not known for enforcing their regulations as much or as well as Malta, Gibraltar or the UKGC. Players at odds with a casino may have to approach other mediators to hope for some help but can’t count on the Curacao jurisdiction. Additionally, for Europeans help is not exactly around the corner.

We haven’t found any big issues with Cadoola or major complaints. This is still a new casino and has yet to establish itself. Only time will tell, whether they are respectful towards their customers or not.

At least we know that there won’t be an issue with their games, which are as safe and thoroughly tested as they can be. But the casino itself will have to prove that they follow good practices when it comes to handling transactions and customer requests.

Colourful and fun design

Cadoola doesn’t come with a mascot for once and it also doesn’t have a very distinct look that stands out from the crowd. But it’s colourful, pleasant and entertaining regardless. The changing banner at the top of the homepage showcases characters from many different slots alongside promotions, tournaments and other offers. Below that you’ll find either games or other information about the casino, depending on which section you’re in. Here the background is white, allowing for easy readability.

And at the bottom we move into a dark grey section, where all the legal stuff can be found as well as further links.

Whilst there’s a great similarity between Cadoola and its sister casinos in terms of what’s on offer, the casino at least doesn’t look simply like a mirror image. The navigation and layout are different, but just as user-friendly and accessible. Overall, we just wish there was more transparency by providing further links to important information.

On the go with Cadoola

Cadoola offers up a great little mobile casino. The design, layout and navigation are similar to the desktop version, though the main menu folds handily away, which it doesn’t on the desktop page.

Most section also only receive a little icon instead of a header identifying what’s behind it.

Scrolling through the mobile page is a lot of fun and a very smooth affair. The page loads quickly and gives players access to everything you would get on your computer as well, including a majority of the games.

That includes live games as well and you are able to enjoy the tournaments via the mobile desktop as well. So, you’re not missing out on anything at all if you prefer to play mobile.

Loyality points, tournaments and VIP treatment

At Cadoola you get to enjoy two regular bonus offers aside from the welcome bonus. The weekly reload bonus gives you 50 free spins when making a fresh deposit. And the Weekend reload tops you up with a 50% match bonus and another 50 free spins.

Similar to its sister casinos, you’ll be able to earn loyalty points at Cadoola as well. Simply keep on playing your favourite games (do ensure they’re not excluded in any way), and earn points, which you can eventually convert back to cash. Your exchange rate depends on your player standing. In any case, it doesn’t hurt to participate because you have nothing to lose.

We also get the tournaments here, which are sometimes proprietary Cadoola tournaments, but sometimes also bigger network tournaments offered by a particular game developer such as NetEnt or Yggdrasil Gaming, who are well-known for regularly creating tournaments.

Finally, there’s the VIP scheme. Whilst it is a nice addition to the player experience and can improve a few things for you (such as withdrawal limits and added bonus offers), it is also pretty run-of-the-mill. There’s nothing outstanding about the VIP scheme at Cadoola, which doesn’t mean you shouldn’t avail yourself of it, if you get the chance.

Cadoola does offer quite a few extras here, which is more than can be said of many casinos that have been around for much longer.

Conclusion: A solid start with room to grow

There are a few things we like about Cadoola. It’s bright and friendly and offers a fantastic range of games, including a small live casino. You can play it perfectly on the go, which is always an advantage these days. And the promotions and bonus offers are great as well, though the bonus terms are overly strict.

We’ve also noted what needs to be improved at this still very new casino. Our biggest issues are the lack of life-changing jackpots and the fact that there’s only a Curacao license. More would be desirable here. As would be more transparency overall.

Check out the casino yourself, but make sure not to overreach with the welcome bonus, because you will find it difficult to fulfil the wagering requirements.
